Our mobile workshop is equipped with the latest motorcycle specific tyre changing equipment.
We have a range of tyres and quality inner tubes in stock.
If we don't have what you require then it is usually available the next working day.
We supply and fit SBS brake pads and we carry a range of front and rear pads.
New Tyres
We supply tyres from all the major manufacturers and can advise you on the best tyre for your needs, taking into account riding style, bike and budget.
If you already have your tyres we can fit them for you.
We arrive at your location at a time to suit you. If necessary we are able to work on your bike without you having to be there.
Wheels are carefully removed using our own stands and bike lifts.
Whilst working on your bike we check items like the wheel bearings, the condition of the brake disks and pads, chain & sprockets etc, and we'll advise you on these or any other issues.
"Thanks for sorting me out so quickly Mike. Brilliant service. Will be recommending you." - David, Yamaha XJR1300, Farnham
Puncture Repairs
There is a lot of debate as to whether it is safe to repair tyres, especially high speed 'Z' rated tyres which are fitted to most bikes over 500cc. British Standard AU159 recommends not to repair 'Z' rated tyres, but this is not law.
In my experience it is safe to repair any tyre as long as: (1) the puncture is in the central third of the tread (2) the penetrating object has gone in at an angle of approximately 90 degrees (3) the hole is not over 6mm in diameter (4) no other damage inside or outside of the tyre
If you want to repair a punctured tyre avoid riding on it when it is completely flat as this will render it unrepairable.
Note that the punctured tyre shown above would not be safe to repair as it is too near the edge.
